About Lorna
Lorna has 20 years of nursing experience, has worked with multi-disciplinary teams, recruited and trained staff, and ensured the delivery of safe and effective care. Lorna believes in keeping the needs of the patient at the centre of her practice, and she has advanced communication skills that allow her to connect with people on a deep level. Lorna also works as a part-time Patient Involvement Coordinator for a national charity focusing on patient-centred outcomes. Lorna’s clinical training has been varied, including nurse prescribing, counselling skills, cancer care, and pain management principles and practice.
Lorna is also StanleySmith’s CQC Compliance Manager, ensuring the high quality of care provided by our Support Workers/ Enablers and Personal Assistants continues and that the service remains in line with CQC expectations.
